Meeting with WTH Holdings Co., Ltd. for Driving to Smart University

On 11th February 2021, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Watcharapong Wattanakul, the Vice President of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (CMRU), together with Dr. Bang-on Chatrungruang, the Director of the Institute of Research and Development, and Dr. Akkarasit Boonsongtae, the Deputy Director joined the meeting with Mr. Wichai Thongtang, and the delegation from WTH Holdings Co., Ltd. at Euang Mon Khai Meeting Room, Building No.27, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Wiang Bua Campus for implementing the project according to the Memorandum of Cooperation between the two parties. This meeting aims to promote and drive the educational system in accordance with the direction of the promoting educational policy to become a smart university and smart city.

In this meeting, both parties had discussed the implementation process and responsibilities under the scope of cooperation on 3 topics, including (1) using technology for organic greenhouse management and creating supporting markets, (2) top-up degree for Finn School of Business and Tourism, England for a period of 2 year- studying and able to continue study in the universities in England, Switzerland, and Australia for a period of 1 year as the alternative programs, and (3) placing platform workforce which is an application for collecting data of the services providers in the areas of technical, healthcare, and housekeeping. The application can encourage students to see the opportunity to improve themselves to have a platform and job during studying. Upon completion of the training, the certificate was given according to each job professional standard guaranteed by the standard of the insurance company service. This meeting is beneficial for both parties for driving the work efficiently in the future.
