CMRU Opened Communications Lab, and Held Seminars on the Issues “Media Information Literacy (MIL) in Thailand and Southeast Asia”

On August 5, 2022, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University led by the Department of Communication Arts, Faculty of Management Sciences, co-organized a seminar on the issueMedia Information Literacy (MIL) in Thailand and Southeast Asia. With the cooperation among the Faculty of Management Science, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, ASIA CENTRE, Friedrich Naumann Foundation, NBTC, the network of educational institutions includes Payap University and Maejo University. The objectives are to exchange operational learning, research, teaching and learning, and media literacy activities, and to use this occasion to discuss the guidelines for building partnerships in the media literacy network. The seminar was honored by Dr.James Gomez, Regional Director of ASIA CENTRE. Dr.Tree Boon chua, Director of Office of Complaints and Consumer Protection in Broadcasting and Television (NBTC), Asst. Prof. Dr. Tian Leraman, Assistant to the President for Foreign Affairs, Payap University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Naphat Ruangnapakul, Faculty of Information and Communication, MaeJo University, and Ajarn Rajanakorn Baengthit, Assistant Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University to exchange with scholars and professionals in journalism from around the world more than 50 people via Zoom Meeting Platform and Facebook Live Fanpage Nithed CMRU-NithedShow which was facilitated by the Head of The Department of Communication Arts.
