On 5 July 2022, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatree Maneekosol, Acting President of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, along with Asst. Prof. Surasak Noommeesri, Vice President, and Mr. Siam Kanhalila, Acting Director of the Student Development Division joined the online press conference of the Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony on Cooperation in Driving Non-Smoking Higher Education Institutions via Zoom Meeting program at the Press Conference Room, 1st Floor, King Mongkut Building Office of the Permanent Secretary for Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Bangkok. This event was honored by Dr. Thongchai Lertwilairattanaphong, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Health and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phasit Lothirapong, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and Emeritus Prof. Dr. Somsri Phaosawat, President of the National Confederation Network for Thai Smoke Free Society attended a press conference.
