CMRU led students participating in ecological learning activities outside the classroom, learning forest ecosystems, and planting forests to reinforce coniferous forest structures.

Ajarn Worawit Suppawimut, Head of the Bachelor of Science Program, in Geography, and Geoinformatics, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University revealed that on July 23, 2022, CMRU brought 40 students from the Bachelor of Science Program in Geography, and Geoinformatics, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences participating in the planting forests to reinforce coniferous forest structures activity outside the classroom to learn about forest ecology. In collaboration with FORRU research team, Chiang Mai University, and Pong Krai Watershed Management Unit. The 300 trees were planted and workshops were conducted. Assisted Natural Regeneration (ANR) will later be coordinated with data collection and the results of the reforestation operation continued for further evaluation.
