Ajarn Kamonwat Sujarit, Lecturer of the Department of Communication Arts, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University who was a course instructor of "Media Production for the Community", Department of Communication Arts, Faculty of Management Sciences, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University revealed that since the problem of dust, smoke, forest fires in the upper northern region of Thailand at this time had caused the PM2.5 in Chiang Mai to be high constantly. All sectors of society had joined together to campaign the prevention and solve such problems. Students of the Department of Communication Arts, Faculty of Management Sciences, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University had cooperated with the villagers and entrepreneurs in Ban Muang Kham Community, Pong Yang Subdistrict, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province, and Phu Phing Forest Fire Control Station to build a fire break line in the community area in order to reduce the chance of the spread of forest fires that usually occur seasonally.
