On 9th May 2023, Asian Development College for Community Economy and Technology (adiCET), Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (CMRU), held the activity under the social innovation driving unit project to bring innovation to benefit in the upper northern region. There was an agreement signing ceremony for innovation funding support to develop the Area of Mae Kha Canal in Fiscal Year 2023 for 3 works at the Technician Conference Room, 3rd floor, Building 5, Chiang Mai City Municipality Office, Chiang Mai Province.
This event was honored by Mr. Wichian Suksroi, Deputy Director of the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) to preside over the opening ceremony of the agreement signing for innovation funding support, and orientation activity for innovation support schloarship recipients to develop the area of Mae Kha Canal for the year 2023. Mr. Sutarut Arunbanjerdkul, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Chiang Mai City Municipality delivered a welcome speech and congratulated to innovation support schloarship recipients for the development of the Mae Kha Canal this time. Asst. Prof. Dr. Hathaithip Sinthuya, Dean of the Asian Development College for Community Economy and Technology (adiCET), Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, on behalf of the Head of the Social Innovation Driving Unit, delivered a report on the implementation of innovation funding support and signed the agreement on behalf of the sponsor, along with Ms. Rungnapha Julasak, Project Management Officer, Innovation Driven for Society who signed the agreeement on behalf of the sponsor's witnesses with the heads of all 3 works signing the agreement on behalf of the sponsor. It was honored by the head of sanitation department, Chiang Mai Municipality Technician Office, to witness the signing of the agreement.
In addition, this event was held a special lecture on the topic "Innovation and economic, social and urban development" by Mr. Manassapong Mangkrai, Northern Office Manager, National Innovation Agency (Public Organization), and the clarification of document management guidelines for innovation-sponsored projects by Mr. Sakolwat Sawetratanakul, Academic staff of SID-AT UN. This event opened for entrepreneurs to present the project implementation plan of all 3 works, and introduce the project to the sanitation working group, Chiang Mai City Municipality which directly oversees the development of the Mae Kha Canal in order to build a network that will lead to cooperation in various fields as well as joint collaborations in the future.
