CMRU Renewed MOU with Kaminoyama Tourism Association, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan to Continue Mutual Cooperation of Educational Quality Development of the Japanese Language Department

On 3 March 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatree Maneekosol, Acting President of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University welcomed Mr. Ikarachi Chinijiro, President of the Kaminoyama Tourism Association, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, and the delegates on this visit to discuss the mutual cooperation according to the MOU between the two parties on November 27, 2019. ( The agreement is valid for 4 years ). Under the MOU between the two parties, the Japanese Language Department sent 8 internship students to Japan.

Since the MOU as mentioned has expired, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University and Kaminoyama Tourism Association agreed to sign for renew the MOU with the aims to improve the quality of education of the Japanese Language Department, and to promoting the learning for services and customer care according to Japanese style through the internship training. The program can provide students with work experience as well as the opportunity to study the network, vision, and administration of Japan. The Renew MOU Signing Ceremony between Chiang Mai Rajabhat University and the Kaminoyama Tourism Association, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan was held at Saban Nga Meeting Room, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Building, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Wiang Bua Campus. This event was witnessed by Dr. Sanya Sasong, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, along with the administrative team, Director of the International Affairs Office, and faculty members of the Japanese Department.
