Premium Melon Planting Project

The administrators, staff, and students of Mae Hong Son College, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (CMRU) and Maehongson Provincial Agricultural Extension Office jointly supported students to grow premium melons for creating income during the study and planned to extend the outcome to the local community. On 16th June 2020, 152 premium melons were harvested for the first time, and the CMRU administrators, faculty members, staff helped students by buying for a special price of 99 baht/each. This project aimed to create income for students in Mae Hong Son College during their study and it was very successful. Therefore, CMRU will proceed with this project continually and extend the project to the community in Mae Hong Son Province and use this project as a model in CMRU, Saluang campus.
