The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, in collaboration with representatives from the European Union, the Asian European Consulting Group, and SUMO Technologies, gathered to solicit feedback and ideas for the development of innovative teaching and learning methods.

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, led by Associate Professor Dr. Sanya Sasong, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

along with faculty members from the Tourism Department and representatives from the European Union, the Asian European Consulting Group, and SUMO Technologies, the faculty has initiated a project focused on innovative capacity building through collaborative and reflective teacher training in the INCREASE (INnovative Capacity building by participative and REflective teacher training for Academia, Society, and Enterprises) program. This program, funded by the European Union (ERASMUS), convened meetings and discussions with entrepreneurs and relevant officials from both public and private sectors. These included organizations such as the Chiang Mai Chamber of Commerce, Chiang Mai Tourism Industry Association, Chiang Mai Human Resource Development Institute for Health Service Industry (DSD), Northern Thailand Hotel Association, Northern Thailand Tourism Federation, Chiang Mai Tourism and Sports Bureau, Evergreen Tour Co., Ltd., We Love Chiang Mai Fund, Tourism Authority of Thailand Chiang Mai Office, Chiang Mai Municipality, Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization, Thai Lanna Spa Association, and more. The purpose of these discussions was to gather input for developing innovative teaching methods and personnel development, focusing on transforming Chiang Mai into a Health and Wellness Tourism Destination. These discussions occurred on September 26 in the conference room at the Chaloem Phra Kiat Building, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Wiang Bua Campus.
