The Geography and Geo-informatics Program, CMRU Organized an Academic Service Activity at Mae Tha Wittayakom School "Learn Geography and Geo-Informatics Through Digital Media in the Form of Active Learning"

On 20 July 20 2022, Ajarn Worawit Supavimuti, Head of the Geography and Geo-Informatics Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University led thrid-year students to participate in academic service workshop "Learn Geography and Geo-Informatics Through Digital Media in the Form of Active Learning" at Mae Tha Wittayakhom School, Lamphun Province. This workshop was designed for students to have knowledge, skills, and experience in searching, importing, and displaying geographic data by inputing important places and water resources in Mae Tha District via Google My Maps, searching for mixing colors, and displaying images from Sentinel - 2 satellite around the school and surrounding areas via EO Browser and activities to investigate the occurrence of heat spots and traces of burning through FIRMS, NASA. It offered students the opportunity to search for data and display results as well as bring phenomena occuring in their communities to discuss and service.
