Welcoming the delegation from Shiga University, Japan
On 16th February 2020, Dr. Tatporn Kunpradid, Director of Biodiversity Research and Implementation for Community, Faculty of Science and Technology, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University: BRIC CMRU, along with Asst. Prof. Surasak Nummeesri, Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology, Dr. Chan Yodle, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology, faculty members, and students welcomed 24 lecturers and students from Shiga University, Japan on the occasion of a study visit. This visit provided knowledge, knowledge exchange, and activities between the two universities, such as making organic fertilizer, herbal extracts, organic agriculture, cooking from natural Lanna traditional ingredients, for example, roasted chicken with straw, fish grilled in a bamboo tube, wet fermented soybean, grilled fermented pork with egg in banana leaf, and roasted pork with salt, at New Theory Agricultural Garden under the Royal Initiative of Suan Kru Pa Tum, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai.
In this visit, the Faculty of Science and Technology and Faculty of Education, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University had signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Faculty of Education, Shiga University, Japan on faculty member and student exchange program, and academic development starting from 2019.
