Vocational training project on food processing from local produce

        Faculty of Agricultural Technology, in collaboration with the Government Savings Bank, Mae Rim Branch, has organized a training program on professional skills for processing local agricultural products into food items. These products include golden corn milk, pumpkin, and pea shell sauce, chicken nuggets, lychee wine, and jujube wine. There were two batches of training, with each batch consisting of 30 participants. The training was open to the general public who are natives of Mae Rim district. 

Miss Pailanatsut Suwannaleert, a scientist from the Laboratory of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, served as the instructor. The opening ceremony for both training sessions was honored by Miss Malika Limsuwan, the manager of the Government Savings Bank, Mae Rim Branch, and Associate Professor Dr. Nattawut Kruttai, the Deputy Dean for Administration and Student Affairs, as the chairman of the event. The training took place on September 7-8, 2023, at the Agricultural Processing Plant, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Mae Rim Campus.
